All parts are knitted flat and seamed. The stitches are all simple but take your time with sewing up carefully for a neat finish.

Yarn

4-ply (fingering) yarn in

• [A] 10g red

• [B] 10g black

• [C] 10g white

• [D] 20g beige

• [E] 10g yellow-green

• [F] a small amount of yellow

Needles

3.5mm straight

• A stitch holder

• 2 pairs of 6mm black mushroom-shaped eye beads or safety eyes

• Black cotton thread

• Red craft pompoms

50g per 185m, 100% polyester

Tension

28 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10cm over St st (not essential)

Practical tips

• Leave long ends at the beginning and end for sewing.

• Sew the seam with RS facing, using mattress stitch.

• If you do not wish to use beads, embroider eyes with black yarn.
